1 week before the event post every day.

  • Last-minute updates, directions, FAQ

The day before the event

  • Post any info that is needed, reminders, etc.
  • Use stories to show behind-the-scenes setup and prep work you are doing.
  • Tag others who are working the event with you (if they have a business page).
  • Be sure to get casual, in the moment photos and even videos. They can be short!

On the day of the event

  • Make a live post of actions throughout the event.
  • If possible, assign someone that task (Facebook Live or Instagram Live events are often effective at reaching new audiences)
  • Post stories during the event if possible. Enlist the help of a colleague or volunteer to take photos of you if you are leading the event.
