Welcome to the University of Arkansas Division of Agriculture.
We are proud to be among the 22 entities that belong to the University of Arkansas
System. We are even more proud to be the only institution of higher education with
staff in all 75 of Arkansas' counties.
The Division of Agriculture was created in 1959 to carry out two of the three traditional
land grant missions: extension and research. Our research arm is the Arkansas Agricultural
Experiment Station. The Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service is our outreach arm.
Between the two, we work to fulfill our mission to strengthen agriculture, communities
and families by connecting trusted research to the adoption of best practices.
